Those complementary colors really sing.Don Grayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10497657029761169270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2275764076227425643.post-40839120852421154592008-07-15T11:15:00.000-05:002008-07-15T11:15:00.000-05:00I love this Deb!!I love this Deb!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2275764076227425643.post-41934983768558937442008-07-14T18:03:00.000-05:002008-07-14T18:03:00.000-05:00Hello, Deb. The trees and quarter moon give it an illustrative feeling, and the complementary colors of bird and background work in concert. I can almost hear his voice:

"But the raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only,
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered - not a feather then he fluttered -
Till I scarcely more than muttered `Other friends have flown before -
On the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before.'
Then the bird said, `Nevermore.'"

E.A.PoeMark Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17490123252091873758noreply@blogger.com
