Well, I never intended to be gone this long but sometimes things are out of your control and the easiest thing to do is to go with the flow. I have been uninspired, nothing seemed to spark my interest and when I did paint it just didn't work. It has been frustrating. They do say these periods lead you to new things - what I'm not sure yet. The only thing I painted with any success were two rooms. Let' hope this little one is the start back!
I also said goodbye to my uncle a couple weeks ago. His passing brought a lot of wonderful memories to mind and a reminder of just how much of a presence he was in my life. He was a talented musician who loved the stage, loved his family and had a passion for fishing. All of this he shared with many. As my cousin said "he had a good run" and he played to a full house at his memorial service!
