I spent the afternoon yesterday with good friend and artist Kristin Grevich painting in Bakers Park in Medina MN. It was the perfect October day. I don't think there's anything better than being outside on those perfect days, connecting with and painting the beauty of nature. This is looking out across a very large marshland just as the sun was getting low and starting to fade. You have to work quickly to paint outdoors anywyas in order to capture the changing light but this meant being even more efficient since it was changing by the minute.
