Citrus Zest


There's a fresh take on grocery shopping when you examine the produce not specifically for its meal potential but for it's color and shape and how it might look as the subject of a painting.
This fresh little group conjurs up thoughts of summer. Fresh lemonade and perhaps a gin and tonic for those warm days...not sure what to do with the kumquats. I tasted them but they were like biting into a lemon.

i think you can kumquat bits to orange marmalade, if one were inclined to make orange marmalade. bring on summer and citrus ades!
