This is an earlier painting that I just couldn't leave alone. So, essentially it's had a face lift. I like it much better especially with all the texture added in the grasses.

love these little feathered friends! and i have to say ditto ditto on the fabulous texture and color! just fabulous! i also love your persimmons, too - just magnificent - but of course, as you know, i love all your work - sorry to have been absent for a while - a move halfway cross country and still unpacking and moving furniture again - and again - you know how that goes! wonderful to visit your beautiful little corner of the world here!
