"You Talkin' To Me?" portrait of a Raven

"You Talkin' To Me?"
©2010 Deb Kirkeeide

Not much new to report except that spring is in the air and that gives one hope that all this white will eventually go away! My street is getting wider and I can actually see the surface of my driveway now. And the best of all - the news report the other night was talking about boating season! hard to believe
it could be a matter of a few weeks (if all goes well)

Love this raven. He's got attitude.  He's really much more dynamic in person with lots of texture and brushwork and contrasting colors. I can't wait to see this one in a frame.

Someone's comment on the last raven suggested that they are a favourite subject of yours? and...just because?

This only definitely has attitude - he's great!

Love the title. Yes, he kind of has this Robert De Niro's attitude. Great painting.

Gorgeous raven! I'm particularly fond of them, as raven is my power animal.

Thanks to all of you for your great comments! Always, always appreciated!

To answer your question Deborah - ravens are a favortie - they are my power animal. And very symbolic of my recent art endeavors. Thus the name Laughing Raven Studios for my business. Long story that I'm sure is on here somewhere - I'll have to look.

Kara - so glad you stopped in! I'm excited to find your site. Ravens are mine too. I have lots of raven paintings! Thanks!
