Sunlit Willow

Well it certainly has been longer than I had anticipated. I've been working on a larger piece that is challenging the you know what out of me. I decided to take a break and just finish a smaller one. This is the result. There is still a little color left these days mostly the willow trees. I was out walking and saw the sun lighting up this willow
and decided it should be painted. Feels good to have a piece finished.
Along with painting I have been busy with other things. One of them is being getting my Laughing Raven Studios website up. I'll probably be tweaking a bit as I go along but if you're interested check it out. And if you have any design needs let me know!

Deb,

Glad you went for a walk and
did this beautiful painting. Nice to
get away from the big picture once in
a while. Let the wind blow your hair back
and allow yourself to breath. I can tell
from the painting that it felt good.

This is really nice Deb. It reminds me of Elk River before all the houses were built around Mom & Dad's. I feel like I should be hunting for puffballs or milkweeds!

Love the new website as well. I'm so glad you are my seeeester!

Doug - great advice. I should take it more often. Walking, breathing and wind in my hair. Always good things!
Thanks!
