I wish I knew the name of these flowers. I picked up a bouquet at the store and forgot to make note of that. Whatever they are I like them. Even the buds are pretty. These were just on the verge of opening up and looking very dramatic in its lighting.

I think they might be freesia which come in mauves, purples, yellow, white.. it is a very nice painting. I love the subtle colouring that you've used.
